Last month, we closed out a memorable 2024 filled with successes and failures, laughs and tears. In today’s post, we’re evaluating the state of USA Farm Labor and reliving some of the year’s top moments. We’re also revealing the results of our yearly client surveys and giving you a glimpse at our plans for 2025 and beyond. We have big things on the horizon and we can’t wait to share those with all of you.

The Biggest Moments of 2024

Undoubtedly, 2024 was a great year for the team at USA Farm Labor, so we’re taking a look at some of our biggest moments and experiences from the past season before looking ahead to 2025. These moments helped transform our business for the better and we’re pleased to share them with you here.

  1. Pinnacle Ahead: In May, we rolled out our Pinnacle initiative. Pinnacle offers a new framework for how our company operates daily. Although our clients may not see this in action, Pinnacle has transformed how we communicate, set and reach our goals, and approach our company's future. Pinnacle is a metaphor for reaching the mountaintop and achieving excellence through our daily systems and procedures. We have short weekly meetings, set new daily, weekly, and quarterly goals, and assign responsibility for certain tasks to key staff members.

  2. Partnering with USA Truck Labor: 2024 brought new partnerships such as our working relationship with USA Truck Labor in South Africa. USA Truck Labor gives current and aspiring H-2A candidates an opportunity to hone their American truck driving skills and verify their agricultural experience through testing. The program prepares candidates for successful careers with America’s agriculture employers – it’s a win-win for all parties involved.

  3. Attending Trade Shows such as Big Iron and Farm Progress: Reaching our goal of becoming the most preferred H-2A agency in the country starts with getting our name and services in front of clients. 2024 saw our company attending several trade shows, including Big Iron and Farm Progress, two of the biggest trade shows in the ag industry. These shows helped us connect with existing clients and allowed us to advertise our services to new markets – and our team members had a lot of fun in the process. We’re looking forward to our first trade show in 2025 as we head to Raleigh, NC for the Southern Farm Show in February.

  4. Global Leadership Summit (GLS): In August, our company attended its fifth Global Leadership Summit, also known as the GLS. We have been attending the GLS for five years now, and these workshops are a great benefit for our team. We hunker down in a remote setting and, for two days, tune in to listen to guest speakers and discuss key ideas between segments. The GLS is packed with guest speakers delivering messages designed to inspire us to do our best work and move our company forward by shifting our mindsets, setting goals, and striving to reach new heights. Our team applies what we learn at the GLS to our daily procedures and mindsets throughout the year. The event truly helps us practice our core values of serving with excellence and making a positive impact on the lives we touch.

These are just a few of the biggest moments from 2024. We can’t fit everything in here, so be sure to follow us on Facebook for updates throughout the year.

2024 Client Satisfaction by the Numbers

We send out client satisfaction surveys every year to learn how our clients view us and we ask them to grade their experience with our company in different areas. Client satisfaction surveys are anonymous but offer our company a glimpse into how we’re doing from our client’s perspectives. We received 75 survey responses this year and we greatly appreciate those clients who took the time to offer their feedback.

Here are a few of the key grades we received from our clients in 2024:

  1. Our team’s explanation of our H-2A services: 96%

We ask our clients to grade us on areas such as friendliness/hospitality, quickness, usefulness, and relevance. The H-2A program can be hard to understand and even harder to explain. A 96% overall grade in this area is impressive and speaks to our team’s dedication to staying current on all things H-2A.

  2. The H-2A Services We Provide: 94%

Our clients scored us on a range of services from how we handle their government paperwork to how well we connect them with H-2A candidates for their open jobs. A score of 94% demonstrates how well our various departments work together to ensure our clients have the employees they need to run their businesses.

  3. USA Farm Labor Team Members: 98%

Our clients score the various team members they interact with throughout the year and grade them in areas such as response time, program knowledge, and attention to detail. Most of our clients interact with their Worker Placement Coordinators regularly but may also be contacted throughout the year by team members such as recruitment report specialists, processing agents, and housing coordinators.

  4. Communication with Clients: 97%

Our clients grade us on our communication skills as a company. Some of the communication areas we ask our clients to grade include timeliness, usefulness, and clarity. Our company seeks team members with excellent verbal and written communication skills, regardless of their position or department.

In all, our clients gave us a 95 satisfaction score. Although we strive for a score of 100, our ownership and management teams are pleased with this positive feedback. Our team is constantly seeking ways to improve and we welcome our clients’ reviews as a tool for growth and professional development.

Looking Ahead to 2025

USA Farm Labor experienced a historic 2024 and we look to build on that momentum heading into 2025. Our Pinnacle Ahead initiative is a great tool to help move our company forward by setting goals, communicating effectively, and assigning each team member a role in our growth.

Breaking Ground on a New USA Farm Labor Campus

One of the biggest projects we’ll tackle this year is breaking ground on a new USA Farm Labor campus. We’re happy to announce that we’ve outgrown our current location and have purchased a small parcel of land situated between Canton, NC, and Clyde, NC. Our team is excited to get started on construction and we hope to break ground in the summer of 2025. More news on our upcoming groundbreaking ceremony will be shared in the months leading up to the event.

Partnering with H-2A Visa Solutions

We’re already working on new partnerships to help take our services and clients’ businesses to the next level. We’re happy to partner with H-2A Visa Solutions, a software service that makes H-2A compliance, audit preparedness, and managing H-2A-compliant payroll quick, easy, and affordable. H-2A Visa Solutions is an all-in-one software solution specifically designed for farmers and agribusiness professionals. We’ll release more details on this partnership as we go, so be on the lookout for future announcements and blog posts on this groundbreaking compliance and management tool.
