USA FARM LABOR is Partnering with USA TRUCK LABOR

We’ve been hard at work this summer.

Between visiting clients, attending agriculture industry trade shows, seeking guidance from an expert business consultant, and researching innovative ways to enhance our services, the USA FARM LABOR team has been working hard to ensure our agency remains the best and most trusted H-2A agency in the country.

To do this, USA FARM LABOR is expanding our services and building a network designed to better serve our clients and the global H-2A workforce. Finding the right mix of resources to serve our U.S.-based farmers and benefit the H-2A agricultural workforce is challenging but not impossible.

Typically, what’s good for one group is good for the other and likewise.

The good news is we have a solution.

We’re proud to announce our newest partnership with USA TRUCK LABOR

What is USA TRUCK LABOR?

USA TRUCK LABOR is a dual-purpose institution designed to produce an industry-leading H-2A workforce for amazing clients like yourself. USA TRUCK LABOR is a training school and skills verification agency based in South Africa. The agency offers various training programs for those individuals interested in a career in American agriculture through the H-2A work visa program.

Furthermore, USA TRUCK LABOR also provides a skills verification program that allows potential farm job seekers to showcase their ag skills and farm work abilities to American ag employers.

Let’s look at these offerings in two parts.

Truck Driving on Farms

We realize that driving semi-trucks is an integral part of farm work in the U.S. Many ag employers in the country need skilled truck drivers to perform various tasks on the farm, especially during harvest season. One of the main skills our clients wanted was the ability to operate semi-trucks for farm work. For years, our clients expressed their need for H-2A employees with diverse, ag equipment-related skill sets. USA TRUCK LABOR provides a solution.

Our clients speak and we listen.

Agriculture skills verification

Unfortunately, we’ve also discovered that many of the global H-2A applicants embellish their resumes and CVs to get a job in the United States. That’s not to say these candidates aren’t willing to work hard for our clients, but many H-2A candidates are willing to do whatever it takes to get a job in America

We can’t necessarily blame them.

When you consider factors such as favorable exchange rates (20-1 in some cases), the allure of an American way of life, and no shortage of ag work in the U.S., it makes sense that H-2A farm job candidates would do and say whatever it takes to land a quality agriculture job in America.

However, this mindset creates problems for our clients here in the U.S. who hire an H-2A employee thinking they possess a certain set of skills or have various levels of experience when in reality, they don’t.

How do we solve this problem?

Our solution is developing a skills verification program designed to help skilled employees stand out plus enhance and better inform the hiring process for our clients.

USA TRUCK LABOR is that solution and we’re proud to call them a partner.

How is USA FARM LABOR Partnering with USA TRUCK LABOR?

USA FARM LABOR is partnering with USA TRUCK LABOR to bring our clients a skilled workforce and offer them a 100% transparent hiring process. We feel deeply that our clients deserve candidates capable of performing key tasks for their farm operations and a hassle-free, clear hiring process.

We’re tracking the H-2A candidates enrolled in the USA TRUCK LABOR program to learn new skills, verify their existing skills and experience, or both. These hopeful farm job candidates will receive a special badge on their USA FARM LABOR H-2A employee profile. These badges are designed to inform our clients (ag employers) on what types of skills and experience a job candidate possesses so they can make an informed hiring decision.

For our clients, this creates a more user-friendly USA FARM LABOR database experience, an improved interview and hiring process, and in the end, a more efficient farming or agribusiness operation.

After all, better employees mean more efficient farm operations.

For H-2A job candidates, a profile badge gives them a way to stand out among other candidates. H-2A ag employers can see exactly what they’re getting in an employee and that makes them feel more comfortable throughout the hiring process. The cost associated with USA TRUCK LABOR is a fraction of an employee’s potential earnings on American farms.

Benefits of Our Partnership with USA TRUCK LABOR

For years, our clients have expressed their need for better-trained employees and a more transparent hiring process. We’re beyond excited that USA TRUCK LABOR is the solution our clients and our workforce need. Let’s take a quick look at the benefits associated with our partnership.

Benefits for our Clients, Agriculture Employers

The benefits of our partnership with USA TRUCK LABOR are obvious for our clients – ag employers. Ag employers are receiving employees who are better equipped to perform the tasks associated with their farm operations and the transparent process gives our clients more confidence in their hiring decisions. Our clients will also save time sorting through potential interviewees on our database. The profile badges will signal to our clients that a candidate is trained and possesses the skills advertised on their resume or CV, allowing for a smoother identification and interviewing process.

Benefits for our H-2A Candidates and Employees

The benefits of our partnership with USA TRUCK LABOR might be even more obvious for H-2A candidates and existing employees. First, USA TRUCK LABOR is located in your home country of South Africa. Of course, not all of our H-2A workforce is sourced from South Africa but the majority of candidates and employees in our proprietary database come from here, so those candidates will have an extremely beneficial resource to access in your home country.

Next, employees who enroll and complete training courses at USA TRUCK LABOR will be infinitely better equipped to succeed in your jobs in America. Candidates who complete training and verification before starting their first position in America will be in a better position to succeed in the inaugural season and probably get invited back to the same position next season. Reliable employees who can perform the tasks necessary for H-2A jobs are almost always rewarded with a steady seasonal job, year in and year out.
